How to Clean Commercial Building Ceiling Tiles

Commercial ceiling tiles are manufactured from the same materials as used in residential building. As with any ceiling tile, commercial ceiling tiles will become discolored over some time, building the room as a whole seem dull. When the time will come for cleaning, this should be need minimum once a year. They can be washed using the same products and material as uses for residential ceiling tiles cleaning. It will take some time due to the size of most commercial building involved, but once finished the tile will once again have a positive impression on clients and staff members alike.

Cover the surfaces and appliances with a cloth to capture falling dirt 

Remove all the ceiling tiles from the roof grid 

Vacuum hard to reach areas where dirt seems to build up like corners, vents and light furnishings, using a vacuum cleaner prepared with a dusting attachment. 

Using a moist sweeper and clean the grid with a minor mixture of 1 part dish-washing liquid and 10 times water. Make sure the soaked sweeper is only damp to keep away from drips or leaving water on grid. 

Dry the ceiling grid with a clean up lint-free fabric cloth. 

Clean the ceiling tiles with the dish-washing liquid mixture. If the Ceiling Tiles are specially dirty or oily from kitchen roofs, use a combination of half of Mean Green cleanser and half water. Wash cleaned ceiling tiles with running water. 

Dry the roof tiles and place them back into the roof grid. 

Long lasting Ceiling tiles 

Remove any dust from the ceiling tiles using a plain-ole duster coat. 

Vacuum the hard-to-reach materials. 

Use a damp sweeper with the soft dish-washing liquid directly on the roof tiles. If the cleaner does not properly clean the tiles, use the Mean Green cleanser. The sweeper will need to only be a little bit damp with no dripping water. Wash each ceiling tile and rinse using fresh water.
